So you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands!
This is a small family run dog home boarding providing ‘home from home’ experience for your dog. We offer both Daycare and Home boarding services. Your little one will stay with us in a clean comfortable home, will be treated like part of our family with a lot of love and cuddles.
We’re specialising in care of small and medium breeds, accept no more than two dogs at a time so they’ll all get our full attention. Rest assured we’ll give careful consideration when mixing dogs from different households so that all the dogs feel safe and happy with each other. Dogs are social animals, your little one will enjoy having friends around and spending a pawsome time that she/he's never had before!
We will send daily updates with many pictures and videos on how your little one is doing to keep you reassured whilst you are away.
Keep Calm and StayPawsitive!
Hello! My name is Kiyoko. I live with my husband, a teenage son and a dog called Astro in Bromley. Astro is a cross between Bichon Frise and Toy Poodle, known as Poochon. He is six years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and obviously well socialised with other dogs.
I used to work for airlines for many years, therefore owning a dog was just a dream. It finally turned into reality in 2015. Since I became a dog owner, embarked upon a new adventure with Astro starting Dog Home Boarding. So far we’re loving it! We have made so many pawfriends. They’re so happy and excited when they return to stay with us as if we’re part of their family.
It has been an absolute pleasure looking after so many pawsome friends and meeting their owners. We would love to meet more lovely doggies so please get in touch!
-Experience and Qualifications-
First of all, I am so pleased that I have just been awarded a 5 Star Dog Boarding Licence by Bromley Council. It’s not easy to get the highest rated licence so this is a real achievement!
I have many years of experience with dogs as I grew up with dogs. Over the years, I have looked after many dog breeds, dogs with different personalities from shy, nervous to super friendly dogs and puppies to senior dogs. I have dealt with different behavioural and health issues. Therefore, I have gained a Pet First Aid certificate and Ofqual Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare, which meets Animal Activity Licensing Higher Standard requirements. Lately, I have attended IMDT Dog trainer and Instructor courses to increase my knowledge and skills so that I can provide more professional and reliable service. I will continue to increase my knowledge by further continuous professional development.
Lastly, I love taking pictures of dogs, if you have time, take a look at my Instagram accounts for more pictures.

Our typical day 🐾🐾
We go for two walks (about an hour walk in a park in the morning and a short about 30mins walk in the afternoon). We take dogs to various parks in Bromley such as Whitehall rec, Norman Park, Beckenham Place Park, Jubilee Park, High Elms Country Park, Scadbury Park, Hawkwoods and family trips on weekends! I also provide them with mentally stimulating enrichment games & activities at home because mental exercises are as important as physical exercise for dogs. Do you know a slow walk with a lot of time for sniffing is much more tiring and beneficial for dogs than a faster long walk? It also reduces stress levels.
**I’m happy to accommodate special requests for exercise, dietary and medical needs (Oral and Injection administration with consent).

Questions and Answers
I know that letting someone else take care of your dog can be difficult. To make the process a little easier, I’ve put together some of the questions I’m frequently asked. If there’s something I’ve missed, just reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
It’s our first time our dog will stay away from us. Is it possible for her to have a trial night?
I strongly recommend a couple of daycares and a boarding before you go on holiday. All dogs get stressed and nervous especially if it's their first time. Therefore it’s very important to ensure your dog is happy with us before you leave for holiday. However, let me reassure you that we’ve looked after so many dogs but haven’t had a single dog never settled, even some shy or nervous dogs have settled in after a few days with us. I sometimes wonder if Hachi was a real story?... :) Dogs are adaptable but this doesn't mean that they don't get stressed with change.
Kiyoko is a very special dog boarder that we feel so lucky to have found. She really took so much care to find out about our 2 year old Cockapoo before he went to stay and he instantly bonded with her. Lincoln had never stayed away from us before and Kiyoko did everything and more to make him feel at ease in her home and the regular photos, texts and video updates were wonderful. I cannot thank her and her lovely family enough for the care and attention they gave him. If I ever need a boarder again, Kiyoko would be my first choice, amazing!
Please send me a text message or fill out the form below with dates required, your dog breed and age. I will try to reply as soon as I can during office hours. Please read Requirements before you contact.
